![]() ![]() Although Frank Viva is a Canadian, I found it interesting that a book that was written specifically for an American institution and based in New York would have been on this list. The Forest of Reading program was created to get children excited about reading and to promote Canadian authors and illustrators. Young Frank is an architect who uses anything he can get his hands on to build interesting things but when he starts to question his desire to be an architect, a trip to MoMa inspires him, and his grandfather to continue creating anew. It's the story of young Frank and his grandfather old Frank. ![]() A Blue Spruce nominated book from 2015 Young Frank, Architect by Frank Viva is actually the first storybook for The Museum of Modern Art located in New York City. ![]() STEAM alert!
